The legend of Reika
A long time ago in a land far far away there was a girl named Reika. Reika lived in the beautiful kingdom of Hyrule. Hyrule was full of forests, valleys, snowy mountains and hot desserts. Reika lives with her mother, her father had died on his way home from a nearby town. Nobody knows what had happen to her father, he simply didn’t come home one day. Reika lived alone with her mother at the bottom of a mountain in a extremely tiny cottage. Reika adored to adventure. She simply cherished the sensation she got from saving someone or finding something undiscovered. At the young age of eight she had vanquished a vile ogre who had been terrorizing common townsfolk. The king of Hyrule had heard of Reikas act of courage and selflessness, so he wanted her as his top general. Reika accepted the kings request. Reika felt gloomy that she had to leave her mother in such a puny and insignificant cottage. Reika gathered her belongings and left.
On her way to the Great castle, which is where the king lived, she began to feel the sleepy, so she did the most logical thing . She pitched a tent, she fell asleep. The next morning, Reika craved sustenance so she went hunting. When she came back to her camp she heard a peculiar crunching noise. Reika slows pulled out her dagger and approached the noise very cautiously.
“Is anyone there?” She exclaims. Suddenly the noise stopped, Reika walked towards where the noise previously was coming from. Immediately after that a baby Phoenix came hovering towards her. Reika was dumbfounded by the majestic creature, she couldn’t believe that she was seeing a Phoenix with her own two eyes. Eventually Reika managed to calm the Phoenix down. She gave the Phoenix a few of her cookies so that the wonderful bird wouldn’t die from malnourishment. The Phoenix let out a noise of pleasure.
“I am going to name you Blaze” Reika said. A few days later Reika and her newly found companion arrived at The Great Castle, they were greeted by a frail old man. The man led Reika and Blaze into the throne room, the king was yelling at what seemed to be his son. As soon as the king laid eyes on Reika he immediately stated.
“Welcome to my castle”. Soon enough Reika understood the reason behind why the king wanted a new general. His nephew wanted to be ruler over Hyrule, and the only way for his nephew to be king was if he took the land by force. The king’s nephew’s name was Atlas, he was named after the titan who bares the world on his back. The king was troubled because he knew that his nephew would kill him and take the throne for himself. Atlas was a merciless leader of an undead army. Atlas was a necromancer. After a few weeks of intense training, Reika was finally ready to lead an army into battle. When Reika arrived on the battlefield she saw the true horrors of war. A few minutes into the battle Reika was fighting a corpse dressed in ancient battle armor it’s eyes were radiating green light. Reika either dodged or partied all of the corpses attacks. She eventually managed to land a fatal blow to the already dead warrior. She saw the green light leave the corpses eyes and eventually it just vanished. Reika saw Blaze lights a horde of undead warriors on fire in the far distance. Reika found herself battling another corpse. The corpse was faster and more swift than the last one. It even managed to land an attack on Reika. Luckily the attack landed on her armor. After a few attempts at killing the warrior she cleared her mind and backed off. Reika then proceeded to dash forth and slash off the corpse’s head with her sword. The tide of th battle was not in the living army’s favor. The Kings loyal army had to retreat. Atlas chased Reika and the living army back to The Great Castle. Atlas and his army attacked the castle. Amazingly the living army managed to fend off their attackers. After a full day of battle the kings army had prevailed and achieved victory. Now there was only Atlas standing all alone on the bridge. Reika approached Atlas herself. Atlas and Reika had a long moment of time where they just stood there, staring at each other until Atlas yelled “I here by summon the seven deadly sins!!!” Suddenly a flash of light. When the light died down seven horrific, vulgar and revolting creatures appeared, each one representing one of the seven deadly sins. Lust, Greed, Wrath, Pride, Gluttony, Sloth and Envy. These were the living embodiments of the seven deadly sins. Wrath didn’t waste anyone’s time, it dashed towards Reika but her reflexes were just to divine for the disgusting sin. She casually stepped aside and dodge Wrath, she then proceeded to stab the beast in the back of its head. After annihilating Wrath she leaped onto Envy’s head and grabbed a hold of Envy’s jaw, she then managed to throw Envy into Atlas. Luckily Atlas had multiple bombs and potions in his inventory, so the bombs blew up and killed all of the sins along with Atlas. I’m the aftermath of the battle the king threw a massive party lasting multiple days in Reika’s honor

I believe that high school should be
obligatory up until college in all societies of the world.
First of all when you
are in high school it is challenging enough to plan for the next week, let
alone the next ten to twenty years. But if a high school student had the
foresight to look that far ahead in the future, and further down the road, they would
undoubtedly see the importance of high school education.
Secondly a high school
diploma should be a standard for everyone. A solid high school education lays a
solid foundation for the rest of a persons life. High school education should
be obligatory. The “real” world is a diverse place that requires a greater
education than is given in primary school.
Finally technology,
science and health advancements lead to a better present and future. People who
have grown up poor get a chance to change their future and lead a good
life.
On the other hand some people
agree that high school should not be compulsory unless the way school is done
gets changed for an example, tests are very stressful for the students, and
that makes the students forgetful during tests, which in turn makes them fail
the test.
In addition, if a
student wants to be a doctor and they just don’t get Spanish for example, and
they’re GPA score gets affected, the student should not be forced to take
classes that they won’t need in the future.
It has also been
suggested that there are great jobs that don’t require high school education if you
choose to devote your career to that specific line of work, then high school
will have been completely and utterly pointless.
However my view is that
high school education should be mandatory in all societies
Many things on the internet are helpful. I mean sure, there are the stupid things online, but those are far outnumbered by the sheer amount of helpful information that you can find on the internet. For example, there are many articles online about first aid and how to perform it. One of the most important things to find online is actually how to perform things such as CPR and the heimlich maneuver. Using YouTube all you have to do is search ”heimlich” in the search bar, and tons of videos pop up. A lot of those videos have probably saved llives.
So, in this text we have summed up a small amount of arguments for internet being a right. I can’t stress enough that this is a very small portion of the positives. As such, my stance on the matter is that the internet is a incredibly powerful tool for the people, and as such, I believe that the internet should be a right.
The internet is a very important tool that can be used for many things.
It can educate the uneducated and bring enjoyment to
the bored. It is a tool for good, and can be extremely useful in many ways. I have a large amount of experience using the internet and I can easily say that internet
access is a powerful tool.
These are the reasons why I think that internet should be a right
. Let’s get started.
Secondly, I would like to bring attention
to the fact that a lot of the internet is just purely for enjoyment. For example, there is YouTube, a online video sharing service that has many different options for anyone. Then there’s reddit, which has thousands upon thousands of different subreddits (pages of content), so at least a few will resonate with the user. Then finally, there’s Twitter, a place where many people can share their opinions with the world. All of these places are absolutely free to use and they bring a lot of fun to many people daily.
Some people don’t agree that internet should be
a right and will try to provide counterarguments to disprove these points, and one of those is that the requirement of internet
for anyone will spread more malware software. Malware, for those who don’t know, is a program whose sole purpose is
to ruin a computer. Typical malware behavior is to replace certain files with others or just destroying them and altering certain files to change the computer’s behavior. All of this makes for a dangerous concoction that could cause trillions of dollars in damage. So, in this text we have summed up a small amount of arguments for internet being a right. I can’t stress enough that this is a very small portion of the positives. As such, my stance on the matter is that the internet is a incredibly powerful tool for the people, and as such, I believe that the internet should be a right.

Good Things About TV
The topic of this discussion is positive and negative things about TV.
Many people argue that TV is educational, informational, entertaining and exciting. They believe that it also gives different perspectives, shows cultures, and it even makes someone move around sometimes.
Other people think that TV is negative and that it can be unsafe. They think it damages a lot of the brain. In addition, there are researchers that have found out that too much TV damages the eyes. It can also be bad for children to watch violent TV-shows or other shows that are using bad language. Commercials on tv are a bad influence for kids because they can show somethings that kid should not look at.
I don’t think TV would do brain damage. I think the opposite of that. First, I think it teaches different things. Secondly, I think that TV is entertaining and fun in general. Finally, I believe that TV can show and teach about different values in life because TV can be about anything, anywhere.
My view is that over all you should not watch too much TV. It is good to watch TV that lets you learn about anything really useful in life. So, in conclusion, I think you are allowed to watch TV but not too much!
Biography by Andrej
First off, my name is Andrej, I
live in Sweden, and used to live in America. As of writing this I am 11 years
old. I live with my parents and my brother. I am not a very interesting person
so let´s start off fast. My different hobbies are: Video games, swimming,
reading and ignoring responsibilities.
I have had numerous traumatic incidents
in my life, but listing them all would take waaaaaaay to long, so I´ll just
tell you about the one that had the most impact on me.
One day, me and my family were
walking along the streets of New York, and I was having an argument with my
brother. While he continued to argue out of the corner of my eye I see a
syringe lying on the ground. Now, before you go and call me an idiot for what I
do next, keep in mind that I was 5 years old and did not yet know what HIV was.
So younger me, in my infinite wisdom, picks up the syringe and uncap it. I
jokingly wave it at my brother. I put the cap back on aaaaaaaand the needle goes
through the cap and jabs my finger. I casually tell my dad what happened and HE
FRICKIN PANICS. He starts yelling at me and tells my mom to call a taxi to the
hospital.
When we got
there I got sent into the ER room in two minutes flat. The nurse holds me still
while I get like thirty shots straight into the place where the needle went in.
I was screaming nonstop while it was happening. Later when the procedure was
done I got to see and try the THREE MEDICINES I was going to be
getting for the needle stab, in case the needle was infected with HIV. The
first one was passable. The second one was a biiiiit worse. The third one was
ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING. It was as if garbage was compacted and put in a
bottle and named medicine. I had to take them for ONE MONTH.
Sooooooooooooo
that wraps up the intro segment. I will continue with the story of how I saved
my brother´s life. (Da-da-dam!)
So when me
and my brother were younger we went to this place that had a pool. We were
really young so we were also fairly short. This became a problem because the
pool was too deep for us to stand in. My dad was very careful to tell us only
to be on the stairs. So after a little while I started to wonder “Hey, where is
Walter?”. I turn around and he is gone! Then I look into the pool and see that
he is drowning! Now back then neither he or me knew how to swim. So for some
God forsaken reason I jump straight into the pool and hold his head above the
water and scream for my dad. He dives into the pool and saves us both.
And that’s
how I learned to swim! (Or how I saved my brothers life. Eh, whatevs.)
Okay, we
are starting to reach towards the end of interesting stories from my life so
I’ll wrap this up quick. One of the biggest things was how I almost went and
kicked the bucket at age four.
Okay it all
started when I went to Brazil. I had a pretty serious ear infection and it was pretty
bad. When we were on the plane it started feeling like somebody was driving red
hot nails into my ear. My dad, the smart and nice person that he is, started to
tickle me, despite the fact I was telling him that was hurting my ear. Then,
nothing. The pain had disappeared, but when I told my mom she said we should go
to a doctor when we landed.
When we got to the doctor and had the ear
inspected, it turned out I had popped my eardrum and was developing an
infection called Mastoiditis, a fatal thing that, luckily, can be treated with
copious amounts of antibiotics. The treatment was very long and we were almost
not allowed to go home to Sweden, and even then we were only allowed home
because of that we promised that we would right away see a doctor.
Soooo these were
some mildly interesting stories from my life! Thank you for reading and
goodbye!
Autobiography by Elias 5b
My story begins at a hospital in New
york city. I dont remember much from the early years of my life, what i do remember from these early stages
are the key moments that shaped me to who I am today.
One of my first memories was when I was a toddler, I think I was about
three years old. In this memory I was playing my first video game, Spiderman
2. Well now that I´ve told you about my
first memory I’m going tell you about one of my most fond memories. I remember
me my mom, step dad and step brother sitting on a balcony eating Nuttela with
spoons and watching the movie ”Dumb and Dumber” in France.
I have been to quite alot of countries during my lifetime, the ones that
stand out the most are Japan,USA,South africa and Mozambique. For now I will
only speak to you about Japan the most
weird,eccentric,peculiar,amazing,incredible country in the world.
When we finally arrived in Japan
after a very long and tiresome flight we went straight to the hotell beacuase
we were exhuasted. After a few relaxing hours we decided to go out and eat
lunch, when we finally had found a good place to eat we w´went inside and asked
for the menu. After deciding what to eat a waitress came to our table and said こんにちは何を食べたいですか?which means
hello what would you like to eat and as you would think this took us by quite
the suprise. The next ten minutes we were trying to figure out what she was
saying. At last she finally seemed to understand the jist of what we were
saying then she brought us our food. Well this has been my autobiography I hope
you have had a wonderfull time, bye bye

Global Goals for a Better World (United Nations)
United Nations Day
United Nations Day highlights, celebrates and reflects on the work of the United Nations (UN) and its family of specialized agencies.
What Do People Do?
On and around October 24, many activities are organized by all parts of the UN, particularly in the main offices in New York, the Hague (Netherlands), Geneva (Switzerland), Vienna (Austria) and Nairobi (Kenya). These include: concerts; flying the UN flag on important buildings; debates on the relevance of the work of the UN in modern times; and proclamations by state heads and other leaders
Background
The foundations for a “League of Nations” were laid in the Treaty of
Versailles, which was one of the treaties to formally end World War I. The
treaty was signed in Versailles, France, on June 28, 1919. The league aimed to
encourage disarmament, prevent outbreaks of war, encourage negotiations and
diplomatic measures to settle international disputes and to improve the quality
of life around the world. However, the outbreak of World War II suggested that
the League of Nations needed to take on a different form.
The ideas around the United Nations were developed in the last years of World
War II, particularly during the UN Conference on International Organization in
San Francisco, the United States, beginning on April 25, 1945. The UN was
officially created when a UN charter was ratified on October 24 that year.
United Nations Day was first observed on October 24, 1948. The UN recommended
that United Nations Day should be a public holiday in member states since 1971.
There were also calls for United Nations Day to be an international public
holiday to bring attention to the work, role and achievements of the UN and its
family of specialized agencies. These have been spectacular, particularly in
the fields of human rights, support in areas of famine, eradication of disease,
promotion of health and settlement of refugees.
The UN does not work alone but together with many specialized agencies,
including: the World Health Organization (WHO); the Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO); the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organization (UNESCO); the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF);
International Labour Organization (ILO); United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees (UNHCR); and United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
Symbols
The UN emblem consists of a
projection of the globe centered on the North Pole. It depicts all continents
except Antarctica and four concentric circles representing degrees of latitude.
The projection is surrounded by images of olive branches, representing peace.
The emblem is often blue, although it is printed in white on a blue background
on the UN flag.
